How to install it

The installation is a DIY process because it’s pretty easy. You hook up the motorised rollers to the curtain track or rod at the first gap of your curtain rings or holes depending with the type of curtain you have. And that’s it.

One automatic curtain opener can only open one curtain so if you have the cinema-auditorium type of curtains that open from the middle, you will need two automatic curtain openers.

Another thing to look out for is the thickness of rods holding your curtains. This device is only compatible with rods whose diameter falls in the range 0.625 inches – 1.5inches or a circumference range of 1.9 inches – 4.9 inches.

Most curtain rods fall in this range but outliers obviously exist. So before you get the opener you may want to measure the diameter/circumference of your curtain rods, just to be sure you’re not an outlier.
