You can try all of these AI logo makers for yourself to find which one is best or you can take my word. Here is my word. The best AI logo maker in my opinion is Fiverr Logo Maker. The whole point of using AI in the first place is to save time. And Fiverr Logo Maker has the right balance of creativity and not wasting your time. There are other AI logo makers with better creativity but they demand more time interacting with them just to cook a decent logo. Other logo makers are faster but their creativity level is low.

Just 5 years ago, getting a logo designed for your brand needed you to scavenge the internet looking for a Photoshop expert. I used to run to places like Fiverr and Upwork when I needed design assets made. Now designing a logo is as simple as sending your grandma a text message, like that’s literally all it takes now. We have several AI tools we can use for this. Logos are a particular kind of art so we can’t use general-purpose image generation AI tools like Midjourney.

Other models are way better and only made for the specific purpose of generating design assets like logos. Those are the tools I am sharing with you in this post.

Disclosure: I only recommend products I would use myself and all opinions expressed here are our own. This post may contain affiliate links that are at no additional cost to you, I may earn a small commission.

1. Fiverr Logo Maker

Fiverr Logo Maker tops the list because it is technically the most competent for the job. You know AI models need a lot of data to learn how to perform with future data, right? The more data it is trained on, the better it’ll be. Fiverr is already a platform with lots of freelance logo designers making a living on the platform.

The training data is made from all the logos made by those freelancers. Considering Fiverr has been running for over a decade, it has a lot of graphic data. For each logo you generate with AI, there is a real human logo designer behind it. This is what separates this AI logo maker from others on the list.

Making the logo go like this. You enter the name of your company or brand and add a slogan if you have one. Then you select your industry. The third step is choosing the logo style. The last step is choosing the ‘personality’ of your brand. There are sliders for you to do that. And that’s it. It pops several logos for you to choose from. And you can edit them to your liking.

The only you might not like about the Fiverr Logo Maker is that it is not free. Cheap for the value and convenience it gives but not free. But in my opinion, it is a good deal.

2. Looka

company front

Looka takes in the name of your industry first. Then it lets you choose the industry or niche of your brand. The third step is choosing some sample logos it’ll use for inspiration. You can add a slogan if you like.

Then you choose your preferred color. And that is it. You wait a bit while the AI is doing its magic. It’ll pop up to three sample previews of your logo and you choose the one that you like most.

Here’s the catch. You can’t download the logo files unless you pay. It’s not for free and rightfully so because they offer a ton of value. Nevertheless, it’s cheap. You get 16 different versions of your logo bundled in what they call a ‘Brand Kit’.

The brand kit has 300+ branded materials that update as you change your logo: fliers, social covers, business cards, letterheads, email signatures, proposal templates, etc. Not a bad deal.

3. LogoAI

Logoai

LogoAI is more like Looka. The only difference is in the end-offers. You punch in the name of your company, for example, say Flower Pie, choose your industry, say a restaurant, then lastly you pick logo templates that the AI model will use as inspiration. Then you wait a bit and it gives you several previews of your logo.

If you like what it gives you, you choose your logo, and the page redirects you to sign in. After signing it you land on a checkout page. So no freebies here. If you pay, you only get the logo, no other branding assets, just the logo.

There are options to customize the logo to make it 3D. I’m not a fan of that but you can find out and try it for yourself, maybe you’ll find it cute and love it.

4. LOGO [free]

LOGO creates your logo and lets you download it without barring you with a checkout page that demands you to pull out your card. However, the AI model used on this site is not that creative.

All the preview logos I got when I used it were at the 3rd-grade creativity level. Simple and barely creative. But that’s just my opinion. You can try it out yourself, it takes literally less than 1 minute to try this.

The drill is the same. Go to the home page. Type in your brand’s name, say Minecraft Boutique if that’s your name. Punch ‘Make a logo’.

You can enter your slogan but that is optional. Enter your industry, say gaming or whatever you do. Select a color theme, then a style, then keywords and that’s it. You choose the logo you like and customize it.

There are paid options, but they are optional. To download your logo, you have to sign in. The downloaded file will be a zipped folder with different formats and file types of your thing.

5. Logopony

Logopony makes relatively great designs. For an AI model designing something in seconds, it’s impressive. The drill is the same but there is an extra step that I think makes the difference in the level of creativity.

The prompts let you choose shapes you’d like the model to use when spicing up the design. And on top of that, when you choose the colors, there is an option to choose gradients. Yes, I know, that is cheesy.

After all the cooking is done in the background. It gives you samples to choose from. You make a choice, and it leads you to the checkout page.

They offer several bundles. You can pay only to get your logo or to work with them for the rest of your brand assets like posters, Instagram covers, etc.

6. Logomaster

Logomaster is pretty average in my opinion. Not so bad and not so good. The significant advantage here is that it saves time, otherwise, you can easily compete with its level of creativity using Canva and a few YouTube tutorials. The drill is you get on the home page and punch ‘Create a logo’.

You select your category, select already-made logo templates it’ll use for inspiration, choose color, input your company name and slogan. Then it lets you search for icons; you can select a bunch of them.

Then punch ‘See results’. The results are ‘ok’. You make a choice and buy your logo to download it. If you’re easily satisfied, then this one can still cut it but if you’re like me (haha) it’s a hard pass.

7. Designs.ai Logomaker

Design.ai is not primarily for logos only but we’re only going to focus on their logo maker in this post. Ok, I don’t mean to put shade on this company, but this is just my honest review after using it.

Using their logo maker is like trying to push a hand-braked car. Feels like you’re wrestling something. Then after wrestling with the site, you must pay to download a 3rd grade creativity-level logo.

Both the UX user-flow and the generative AI model they use are not great. At first, the drill seems typical, then after the logo is made you must sign in which is fine. But after signing in, your previous logo gets discarded, and you must start the drill again to create the same logo.

Frustrating. And the designs suck too. Hard pass. Maybe they use a different AI model after you pay, but as far as attracting new users who need logos is concerned, they’re not doing a good job.

8. Brandmark

Brandmark is also not a logos-only site, but their AI logo maker is relatively good. You go through the same drill, and they give you room to be specific about your brand.

For example, when choosing the category of your brand they let you type keywords from your head not from a hard-coded drop-down list which may be missing other categories.

If your brand is in the cricket or football niche or RNB music niche, you can type that in instead of selecting the broad ‘sports’ category or ‘arts’ category.

AI models give better results when you are specific and Brandmark’s logo maker doesn’t restrain you to do that. After all is done, they give you the option to buy your logo or buy an entire designer package inclusive of your logo.

Turbologo also relatively good. The creativity is hard to replicate if you’re not a designer. There’s only one red flag about Turbologo. They have their site written ‘Free Logo Maker’ but after going through the drill, they don’t let you download the logo.

First, they say to sign in to see the logo previews. Then after signing in, you can see the previews. When you punch ‘download’, a checkout page pops up and you can’t get your logo unless you pay.

It’s cheap but it’s a little frustrating when online companies are not transparent. Why write ‘free’ in the first place?

10. Logomaker

Logomaker says ‘Make a free logo in minutes’ on the home page. Technically, they’re not lying because you really can make a logo in minutes but they are not telling the whole truth. The only free part is making the logos and previewing them.

You can use the logos for free ONLY IN THEIR PLATFORM. You can’t download your logo to your computer or another platform unless, of course, you pay.

So yeah, no freebies. The drill is the typical one, no unfamiliar methods here. The creativity level of their AI model is relatively good compared to other tools in this list.

11. Logo Diffusion [free]

Logo Diffusion doesn’t let you do anything before you create an account. Then after creating the account, the dashboard presents you with several options. The drill is different here. It works more like ChatGBT.

You first choose whether you want a pictorial design or a text design, then you can further specify the logo style you want. There are several options and what you choose will be the settings for the AI model that will generate your design.

Then you type in the prompt describing the design that you want. In the free account, your request is queued for a while before it gets executed. I waited and finally, it executed.

I chose cartoon and pictorial settings for my prompt. For something that is free, this platform is impressive in term of creativity.

Better than most paid tools in this list. The drawback with AI tools that give you a lot of room to describe what you want is that the quality really depends on how good you are at exactly specifying what you want.

If you can’t prompt the model in a specific way, the results are almost always something you don’t want.

12. Picart Logo Maker

Picsart is a mobile app for designing and drawing. But during the AI boom, they also created an online AI logo maker to attract more users. The logo maker pops in Google SERPS so I thought I’d finish the job on their site but the site prompted me to download the app. I downloaded the app and looked for the AI logo maker but couldn’t find it.

Some functionalities utilize AI but I couldn’t find any specifically for generating a logo. I kept seeing tattoo designs made by other people. After a bit of blind navigating in the app, got fed up and exited.

Don’t get me wrong, Picsart is great for designing but if they really have an AI logo maker, its hidden. So got nothing out of this one.

13. Zillion Designs [free]

Zillion Designs is the most transparent site and it’s straightforward. No sign-ups, no barring, and the drill is very short.

You type in the name of your brand and type in your industry and that is it. It pops up an unending list of logo designs you can download. No catch, it truly is free.

However, there are limitations. You can only download PNG and JPEG file formats. No vector file formats and the resolution of the images is low. I’d say this one makes a good logo template maker you can use to generate ideas.

14. Appy Pie

Appy Pie is primarily for creating apps without coding knowledge or expertise. They also have an AI logo maker in their portfolio of design tools.

The drill is more like that of logo diffusion but once you punch ‘Generate’ the page takes its time loading, and before it shows the design previews, you’re directed to a sign-in page.

After signing in, an ‘Upgrade your plan to unlock bla bla bla’ page blocks everything. So, you can’t even see the design previews unless you pay. They have a 7-day free trial but you have to submit your PayPal to use it.

I wouldn’t say I like this. They should at least show me the level of creativity their model has so that if I’m impressed, I know what I’m paying for. Existed with nothing here.

15. Zoviz

Zoviz only asks for the name of your brand. That’s all there is to the drill and it generates logo previews. They lead you to sign in and if you want to download you have to upgrade to get a branded kit inclusive of your logo.

Their AI model gives generic designs. They are good but you can’t get something that is niched down. Gaming logos, flower makeup logos, or fashion boutique logos need to look like the niche they represent. They must be custom-made. They can’t be general.

16. DesignFreeLogoOnline

DesignFreeLogoOnline has the word ‘free’ even in its domain name, but it is not really free. The drill is the typical punching in your name, selecting your industry, and choosing your style.

The AI model they use is great. The logo previews are good. To download any of them you have to pay for a brand kit that is inclusive of your logo.

17. My Free Logo maker [free]

My Free Logo maker is free but it is not that great. The drill is the same and you must sign in to download the logo. The logos are less than average. It even just gives back the text as it is, with no creative edge. Saying their AI model is 3rd grade-level is level is an understatement. It is kindergarten level.
